

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced the opening of its first hotel in the Maldives in 2025. The lavishness brand plans to direct its new resort on a private island located on Bolidhuffaru Reef, an atoll progress in South Male Atoll. With the building of one-bedroom beach villas previously finalize, the plan is gradually moving towards its goal open date in Q4 2025.
Current Construction development:
• Construction of two-bedroom beach units and back-of-house amenities is continuing.
• Over 60 over-the-water villas are under creation.
• Growth of north and south jetties is succeeding.
• Work on three and four-bedroom unit, front-of-house zone, and fit-out works are estimated to start soon.
